چکیده

Abstract Statically indeterminate symmetric (SIS) flexure structures are with “clamped-clamped” boundary conditions. The static indeterminacy and topological symmetry significantly attenuate the parasitic motions associated statically determinate structures. Hence, SIS feature decoupled linear angular motions, improved motion accuracy, high stiffness, stability. Although have been more frequently utilized as prismatic joints, they can also be revolute joints. This study systematically investigates characteristics of Based on unified compliance models a single hinge, analytical two fundamental types established.
